Can I Try an Activity Before I Assign It?

Yes — the best way is to play it yourself in Practice Mode. It works a little differently than you'd expect, so here's how.

The key thing to know

Activities run in the Activities App (activity.neurofit.ca), which is the client side of Neurofit. Your provider dashboard (admin.neurofit.ca) is where you select and schedule activities — but you can't play them there. To experience an activity the way your client will, log into the Activities App with a client account.

  1. In your dashboard, add a client named something like "Practice Demo" . See How to Add Your First Client.
  2. Make sure the account access toggle is on, then accept the invite and set a password.
  3. Go to activity.neurofit.ca and log in as that demo client.
  4. Select Practice Mode — free, open-ended exploration that doesn't affect any real client's data.
  5. Play any activity to see its rules, controls, and cognitive demands first-hand.

Tip: Reuse one demo client rather than creating a new one each time. Because previewing means logging in, a demo client you log into counts as active for that month — keeping one makes billing predictable. See Managing Login Status.
