Quick-Start Guide for Clients & Families
What to expect when your provider signs you up for Neurofit.
What is Neurofit?
Your provider has enrolled you in Neurofit — a set of fun, game-like activities that help build skills like memory, focus, and processing speed. Think of it as brain training homework that actually feels like playing a game.
Getting started
1) Check your email for a welcome message from Neurofit with your login details and access link.
2) Go to activity.neurofit.ca on a computer with a mouse and internet.
3) Log in with the email your provider provided.
4) Complete your first activity — it takes about 5 minutes.
What you'll see
- Homework — your assigned activities with due dates and session counts
- Practice — all available activities you can explore freely
- Achievements — goals and accomplishments that earn you points
-
Zen Garden — a virtual space you build and customize using your earned points
Tips for success
- Aim for consistent practice (your provider will set a recommended schedule, usually 3x/week for 15–20 minutes).
- Don't rush — the activities measure how carefully you work, not just speed. Slowing down usually means better scores.
- If you get stuck during an activity, right-click your mouse to bring up the Assist/Hint function.
-
Missing a day isn't the end of the world — just pick up where you left off.
Good to Know
- Your provider can see your progress, scores, and mood data. This helps them tailor your program.
- You need a computer with a mouse and internet connection. Tablets and phones are not currently supported.
